Brookfield Place Sydney is a $2B transformational urban regeneration project in the heart of the CBD, setting a new standard in workplace design above one of Sydney's busiest transit hubs.
PROJECT OVERVIEW
Brookfield Place Sydney (formerly Wynyard Place) is a major urban regeneration project in the heart of the CBD, integrating commercial, retail, and transport infrastructure across a full city block above Wynyard Station.
The development includes a new 27-storey PCA Premium Grade commercial tower at 10 Carrington, alongside the retention and restoration of heritage-listed buildings including Shell House and 285 George Street. Together, these elements deliver a mix of premium office, retail, and public spaces.
In addition to approximately 60,000sqm of commercial office space and 9,400sqm of boutique offices, the project introduces 7,000sqm of high-end retail, a revitalised Wynyard Lane, and a significant upgrade to the George Street station entrance, connecting to a new transit hall and public concourse.
SCOPE OF WORK
TTW delivered engineering services as part of a Design and Construct team, working closely with an international consultant group to coordinate complex project requirements including heritage restoration, rail integration, heavy load transfers, and operational logistics.
Our role focused on developing coordinated, buildable, and cost-effective design solutions that respond to the project’s architectural ambition while maintaining functionality, security, and constructability within a live operational environment.
