PROJECT OVERVIEW

CSIRO National Collections Building (NCB) in Canberra is the newest home for Australia’s largest collection of wildlife, insects and plants. This landmark facility brings together cutting-edge design and engineering, balancing visual impact with high-performance functionality.

SCOPE OF WORK

TTW delivered Structural, Civil and Façade Engineering services for the CSIRO National Collections Building (NCB), supporting the delivery of one of Australia’s most technically advanced research facilities.

The project required innovative solutions to complex challenges, including:

  • Chemical-free decontamination environments
  • Advanced vibration control,
  • High-performance façade system.

Our team worked collaboratively to develop practical, buildable outcomes that balance performance, efficiency and architectural intent, contributing to the overall success of this landmark project.
