NextDC M2 is a multi-stage hyperscale data centre in Tullamarine, delivering mission-critical digital infrastructure with performance solutions spanning façade, thermal and waterproofing engineering. 
PROJECT OVERVIEW
NEXTDC M2, located in Tullamarine, is a Tier IV data centre situated on a 25,000 m² site, delivering an IT capacity of over 120MW.
SCOPE OF WORK
TTW delivered façade services across multiple stages of this data centre, including:
- Investigation and rectification of façade, roof, and plant areas, including waterproofing and interfaces to the new to be developed stages.
- Design on the roof plant and penetrations into the data hall, including on-site testing.
- Full design, documentation, and certification of the office building, which showcases a double height stacked curtain wall façade as well as large red cantilevering louvres shading the office areas from overheating.
- Specialist services such as detailed thermal analysis, waterproofing performance solution, condensation risk assessments and energy modelling.
- Expansion works incl. enclosure to batteries, IEC units, Switch rooms and Pump room.
